The RGB color mode is based on the sum of the primary light colors. This is known as additive synthesis, where the colors must be added to get a new one. Those colors are Red (Red), Green (Green) and Blue (Blue).
Color is achieved by light spectra and not ink. Colors are formed by the sum of different lights at their different wavelengths. The white color is achieved by adding the three colors in equal parts with the maximum possible saturation. On the other hand, the absence of primary colors gives us the color black. Black is the absence of light. Without light the eye cannot perceive any color.
The Color Palette API works with the RGB palette and not with CMYK, which is a different type, but we won’t cover it here.
