The Infrastructure Service Group (ISG) at Dell Digital has created a developer portal as the first time we have taken APIs from many business units throughout a business organization and provided a common location for our external developers to come and explore our capabilities. To truly comprehend the capabilities they can integrate as part of a product or solution, customers don’t need to interact with a support team at Dell. To obtain such access, they can instead visit the self-service portal.
The new site is expanding quickly as other commercial firms add APIs to it. The portal has a new appearance and feel and more functionality than our internal marketplace platform. In order to give our internal developer API ecosystem better search functionality and other user experience enhancements, we are also moving it from our API Marketplace to the new portal.
