If you go to the API Documentation tab, you will find three different endpoints. Each works differently. Firstly, you will find the GET VESSEL DATA BY SHIP ID endpoint, which will return you an organized list of information right after you pass a vessel’s ID number. Secondly, you will find the GET VESSELS BY GEO LOCATION endpoint, which will tell you every vessel available in a 300 nautical miles radius. All you have to do is pass a latitude and longitude. And the third one is the GET VESSEL DATA BY SHIP NAME endpoint, which will get you back a complete list with all the information the API possess about the vessel which’s the name you passed through the endpoint. For you to access the endpoints though, you need to subscribe. And to do that you need to go to the API, subscribe to the uncharged plan and then you can use them.
