The Berlin investor Project A is now in e-scooter fever. Together with Creandum and the old investors Vostok New Ventures, Balderton Capital, LocalGlobe and Raine Ventures, the capitalists invest 26 million euros in the Swedish startup Voi, which like many other companies offers electric scooters.
About its development
The fresh capital should flow into the “further development of the product as well as the further development of the European market”. Voi has already collected $ 50 million. The company was founded in Stockholm in 2018 by Fredrik Hjelm, Douglas Stark, Adam Jafer and Filip Lindvall. Most recently, Voi sought a merger with the Berlin startup animal, but this did not come to fruition.
Voi is currently traveling in 14 cities
Berlin should follow soon! Spreadshirt founder Lukasz Gadwoski is currently trying to gain a foothold in the e-scooter segment. His startup Flash has already collected 55 million euros and is currently looking for a similar sum.
