Fintech Compeon opens “branches” nationwide

Do not worry, we are not coming to you now with the renaissance of the branch. This thesis we think is nonsense. However, from our point of view, this is not nonsense: At fintechs with direct customer contact, the much-praised operational excellence not only includes the smoothly moving digital application process – but also personal advice.

This can be done over the phone, it is about lush lot sizes, but pays off even the physical presence on site.

Insofar it sounds conclusive that according to exclusive information from “Finanz-Szene.de” now the next young fintech begins with the establishment of a quasi-branch network. Namely: the Düsseldorf startup Compeon, which fulfills not only the criterion “lot size” as an intermediary of SME loans, but also the criterion of a not so madly digital affinity clientele.

Compeon already had two locations, two more offices have been added on January 1, another six to eight are to follow in the course of the year. Read here excerpts from the corresponding press release, which is to be published today – and the “Finanz-Szene.de” received in advance:

“Business customers can now receive comprehensive advice from Compeon in the large metropolitan areas. Since January, in addition to the headquarters in Düsseldorf and the Münsterland location, there are also offices in Hamburg and Stuttgart. Further follow in the course of 2019 in Berlin, Frankfurt, Munich and other metropolitan regions.

“Especially for large-scale and complex financing occasions, our customers have the desire to discuss their project with a local consultant. With the additional offices, our consultants can quickly get in personal contact with customers and, if necessary, drive directly to the customer […] ‘, says Frank Wüller, Managing Partner of Compeon GmbH.

[…] Criteria such as central location and good transport connections were decisive in the selection of suitable offices. […] On the Compeon platform, customers can specify their financing requirements and start an invitation to tender – thus becoming more than 220 financial providers who use the Compeon platform digitally connected to acting actors. They submit offers, from which the customer can choose the best one.

Compeon relies on technical innovation in the process: With the help of artificial intelligence, around 150 parameters are used to check a customer’s information and derive the most appropriate client advisor, potential financial provider, and other assumptions to simplify the process for the client to accelerate.
