What is taxonomy?
An organized set of words or phrases is used to organize information so that it can be found more easily. Specifically, in a website it is a structured and hierarchical list of categories or keywords; under this taxonomy, we can classify the content. The construction of the taxonomies supposes the realization of four processes; besides, delimitation of the area of knowledge that the taxonomy will represent; extraction of the set of terms; control of these to choose the most appropriate ones, and creation of the organizational structure of the terms or categories.
Getting it right in defining the most appropriate taxonomies as a basis for the information architecture of a website is a key factor in usability and positioning. A taxonomy is also the process of categorizing content, that is, organizing it into groups.

If in the first paragraphs I have talked about the general concept of Bloom’s Taxonomy; and in the following, I have developed how digital competence and ICTs should be integrated into the 6 levels of cognitive learning; now I am about to apply it to Social Media, both for the creation, as for the execution of a Social Media Plan.
In my opinion, the process of creating a Social Media or Digital Marketing Plan brings together the 6 learning levels of the cognitive dimension of Bloom’s Taxonomy. In addition, the Plan is not static; on the contrary, it generates a cycle based on the results and measurements; to start over and tweak, modify, expand, complement, test, reproduce, and improve the Social Media Plan, let’s say that during its execution we are also using Bloom’s Taxonomy.
It Is Important For Your Strategy
So, in the case of Bloom’s Taxonomy to create a Social Media or Digital Marketing Plan; we obtain information from the client from their social networks and current actions; as well as from the business and product (We remember) as if it were our own personal plan. With all this, in turn, we understand; for example, with a SWOT to be able to evaluate what we need, what objectives to set, and with what strategy. We execute the Plan in Social Media, We evaluate if we are achieving the objectives; and We create everything necessary to improve, to teach our client; ourselves, we edit a video to arrive in another way and we are capable of implementing an entire Plan of Digital Marketing managing it.
In the second case, Bloom’s Taxonomy in the execution of a Digital Marketing or Social Media Plan; we are learning from the information obtained in the results achieved; measurements, and indicators that it throws, to improve it, both at the Plan level. As ourselves, we teach the client and would be part of the creation to train and educate students in the profession.
