Cross-selling is one of the most used (and effective) methods of marketing. To cross-sell is to sell related or complementary products to a customer. If this concept were applied to blog content, you could cross-sell your posts to your readers.
This would be done using an API, which would analyze all of your posts, and assign categories to all of them. Then that’d be integrated into your website, where it would recommend posts (or other blogs) that are related to what they’re reading.
There are many categorization APIs out there, which means that you could try 100 and not find the right one. To give you a head start, we’ll recommend you out favorite: Klazify
Why Klazify?
It is, in our opinion, the most comprehensive and effective tool for categorizing information currently accessible.
Klazify is a website classification API that may be used to do a variety of things, including:
- It uses one of three distinct category styles to organize web pages (and blog articles) into 350+ categories.
- The social media networks and logos associated with a domain are gathered and updated in real-time. This will help you keep track of your connected blogs.
- Examining a website’s content and meta tags would be used to classify the blog and postings. Natural Language Processing was used to scan the text on the webpage.
To obtain the information, you must:
- Log in to www.klazify.com to get the API key
- Copy and paste the company’s URL into the supplied area, then verify that you are not a robot before submitting.
- The API answer will then be sent to you in the programming language of your choosing. JSON, Python, and PHP are all used by Klazify.
- Locate and save the desired outcome. After then, you can use it how you see appropriate.
The following is an example of the answer:
{ "domain": { "categories": [ { "confidence": 0.69, "name": "/Online Communities" } ], "domain_url": "http://www.reddit.com", "social_media": null, "logo_url": "https://klazify.s3.amazonaws.com/72644513816371671666195303e293793.01678727.png" }, "success": true, "objects": { "company": { "name": "Reddit", "city": "San Francisco", "stateCode": "CA", "countryCode": "US", "employeesRange": "1K-5K", "revenue": null, "raised": 550100000, "tags": [ "Internet", "Web Services & Apps", "Technology", "Forums", "Mobile", "B2C" ], "tech": [ "google_apps", "aws_route_53", "amazon_ses", "mailgun",
Is This a Safe Option?
Yes, it is! This platform will navigate to the relevant domain name or URL, collect material, and create suitable categorizes based on an IAB V2 Standard classification taxonomy, which may be used for 1-1 personalization, marketing segmentation, online filtering, and other applications. As a result, the URL or domain can now be allocated to one of several categories.
Klazify’s categorization is excellent for internet filtering and security applications, and the greatest part is that they support virtually all foreign languages and all accessible domains.
